The South Jersey Region race planning team in partnership with NJMP, and in consultation with SCCA regions throughout the Northeast to minimize overlaps and conflicting dates, has an exciting completely new 2026 SCCA NJMP racing calendar to share with you. It represents a significant and positive change from prior years.  The biggest change is the movement of our Majors at NJMP to May 1-3, 2026. This should be a welcome change for all vis a vis weather, as well as making the NJMP Majors much more important and relevant for those looking to secure a RunOffs invitation. The Lightning Challenge moves to late June, into an open slot in the Northeast Division schedule. Another big change is the return of our August regional! And our traditional season ending Jersey Road Racing Classic at NJMP remains on an open weekend in late October.  May 1,2,3 SCCA US Majors, Jersey Devil Major – Thunderbolt June 26, 27, 28 – Lightning Challenge- Lightning August 14, 15, 16 –( no name yet)- Lightning October 23, 24, 25 – JRRC -Thunderbolt  With four SCCA events now at NJMP, New Jersey Road Racing Champions awards will be created for 2026 – stay tuned for more information. New season, new calendar, new look, new feel, new awards … this is going to be a great one thanks to a lot of hard work by the race planning team and the incredible partnership with NJMP. We look forward to seeing you at NJMP in 2026.
