The NNJR Solo Awards & Worker’s Party
NNJR Region Party January 18, 2025On January 18, 2025, Northern New Jersey Region held its annual Region Party at the Packanack Lake Clubhouse in Wayne, NJ.
The party was well attended and the weather cooperated – no snow on Saturday. A hot buffet, desserts and members’ favorite beverages were served.
Linda Santangelo-Mosley, Region Executive, welcomed everyone to the party to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Northern New Jersey Region.
NNJR was born in 1950 when New Jersey members of the New York Region received approval from the SCCA to separate from New York to form their own region.
The RE Column of the NNJR February e-Newsletter will expand on the story.
Awards were given out to workers from Road Racing, Rally, Solo, the Board of Trustees and Solo winners.
A 50 year member award was given to Scott Vandeweghe and accepted by his brother Alan Vandeweghe.
The NNJR Vinny Blancuzzi award was given to Christopher Mosley for outstanding service to the Northern New Jersey Region having served as Assistant RE, Region Executive and 20 year Board of Trustee member.
A special presentation was given to the NNJR former Region Executive Peter Schneider for his years of service as RE and 34 years as Rally Chair.
A good time was had by all as we enjoyed time with our NNJR family and friends sharing stories of our years together.
Thank you to the Board of Trustees for making this another great year.

The NNJR Worker’s Party has a new date, Saturday January 18, 2025.
The NNJR Worker’s Party will be held on Saturday January 18, 2025 1-4pm at the Packanack Lake Clubhouse in Wayne, NJ. The agenda will include Worker Appreciation Awards, Solo 2024 Season Awards, the Vinny Blancuzzi award to be presented to Chris Mosley and a presentation to Peter Schneider for his years of service as RE.
